PROJECT DESCRIPTION :
Celebrating the transformative nature of light, shadow, and texture. This project celebrates natural light and natural building materials. During the course of a day, and the course of a year, it will exhibit a dynamic range of light, shadow and texture. The textural pattern of the brick masonry walls, the warmth of the natural wood ceiling, and the strength of the zinc metal roof on the chapel roof emphasize the timeless nature of the design. A custom wood entry door, carved with theological symbols, further demonstrates the craftsmanship of this building.
